You are a Bachelor boy and that's the way to stay

Those who have lived a hosteller life will always have lot of stories to tell. I was a day scholar during my college life so don't have stories of that but I have many incidents of bachelor life which was like a hostel life.
During my job at Pune we were given accommodation in the plant premises itself where they had the living quarters for a few families and bachelors. We had one flat where all bachelors used to gather because that one had a colour TV arranged by one of our colleague. Everyone would come and huddle in that one room and pass comments or news about the entire plant while watching TV.
The favourite pastime would be watching the channel which had those movie songs playing back to back, those days it used to be in Zee TV. We had a friend Pai who used to say Shilpa Shetty is from his gaon (native place) and we used to joke that he can identify her on those musical channel without even watching her face, just by looking at random body part.
On our weekly off day all of us would go by Shuttle bus to Pune which was about 30km from plant premises. The regular schedule was like land up at Dhole Patil road where company bus drops us, go to the UCO Bank in the same street where we had salary account, withdraw money for a week's expenses. When the money was withdrawn and put in the pocket we felt elated like a King. From there we used to go to a nearest restaurant and have breakfast or lunch depending upon the time of the day. We used to share the expenses of the food randomly among available friends, some paid this time and some next time.
We always noted one friend used to go for washroom whenever the bill was to come. When it became a pattern we made a plan to catch him unaware. So this time we went to restaurant and when bill came no one pulled out the wallet. Instead everyone started pushing the bill to the nearest person. It was pre planned that everyone will say I don't have money as none of us had withdrawn money except for this friend who never pays. So finally the bill was pushed to him when he returned from washroom and he had no way but to foot the entire bill. That day he returned back to hostel instead of continuing with us for further masti that we used to do at MG Road or spent time watching movie at Westend Theatre. After that incident he never joined us for any of the weekly outings. We had our laugh at his free lunches...
